Lupe Berretta- Founder and CEO

Empowering Change

Lupe Berretta is a U.S. Army Veteran with over a decade of experience driving healthcare transformation across clinical, operational, and government settings. In previous roles, she advanced women’s health initiatives for more than 20 hospitals across Georgia, including standing up the inaugural Maternal Health Equity Task Force to address challenges to reproductive healthcare access. She has developed system-wide strategies to navigate rapidly changing women’s health legislation, track disparities in maternal health outcomes, and advocate for equitable access to care.

Her leadership includes spearheading a maternal mortality and morbidity dashboard to drive data-informed decision-making, coordinating provider education initiatives, and designing strategic community engagement efforts. These initiatives have contributed to measurable improvements in healthcare quality and outcomes, cost savings, and recognition for impact.

Lupe specializes in workforce development and instructional design, creating evidence-based training, public health education programs, and policy-informed learning strategies tailored to diverse audiences. Her work focuses on translating complex public health challenges into practical, actionable learning experiences that drive behavior change, improve implementation, and strengthen system performance.

She has designed and delivered training and educational solutions across multiple stakeholder groups, including emerging public health professionals, established healthcare workforce, community populations, and policymakers. Her approach integrates adult learning principles, the ADDIE instructional design framework, and best practices in public health pedagogy to ensure learning is engaging, applicable, and measurable.

Lupe holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Colorado State University with a concentration in Organizational Leadership and Change Management, is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and holds a project management certification. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) at Georgia State University, where her work focuses on bridging healthcare systems, workforce development, and community-centered public health strategies.

She serves as Programs Chair for the Georgia Chapter of the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives (NALHE), where she develops programming to elevate Latino leadership and advance equity in healthcare. Outside of her professional roles, Lupe enjoys traveling and creating meaningful experiences with her two sons.
